Terms of Service

Kapan Plumbing Service offers residential, commercial, and new-construction plumbing services, including diagnostics, repairs, installations, and related work subject to availability, site conditions, and applicable codes.

Online listings show typical starting prices and visit lengths. Final scope and price are confirmed on site before work proceeds beyond an agreed estimate or diagnostic visit.

When you submit a booking request, you agree that the contact details and service address you provide are accurate. Arrival windows are estimates; traffic, prior jobs, and emergencies can affect timing. We will communicate material delays when practical.

We may decline, reschedule, or cancel a booking due to safety concerns, inaccessible work areas, unpaid balances, scheduling conflicts, force majeure, or suspected fraud.

Some bookings require an online deposit or payment through our checkout provider (Stripe when configured). Amounts charged online may be applied toward the final invoice. Remaining balances for labor, parts, permits, or change orders are due as agreed at the job or on the invoice.

You authorize us and our payment processor to charge the payment method you provide for agreed amounts. Mock checkout in development does not move real money.

Please cancel or reschedule as early as possible by calling or emailing us. Late cancellations or no-shows may forfeit a deposit or incur a trip/diagnostic fee when disclosed at booking or on site.

If we cancel for reasons within our control and cannot offer a suitable alternative time, we will refund prepaid deposits for that visit.

You agree to provide safe, reasonable access to the work area, disclose known hazards (for example gas leaks, asbestos suspicion, or energized equipment), secure pets, and obtain any building management approvals needed for entry.

If conditions are unsafe or require work outside the agreed scope, we may stop work until conditions are addressed or a revised agreement is reached.

We stand behind workmanship consistent with industry practice and any written warranty we provide for a specific job. Manufacturer warranties on parts, if any, are subject to the manufacturer’s terms.

Except as expressly stated in writing, services and the website are provided “as is.” We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free online booking. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by California law, Kapan Plumbing Service is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, arising from the site or services.

Our aggregate liability for any claim related to a specific job is limited to the amounts you paid us for that job, except where liability cannot be limited by law (including certain personal injury claims caused by our negligence).

You may use the website for lawful purposes related to learning about and booking our services. You may not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it abusively, probe admin systems without authorization, or submit false booking information.

Site content (text, branding, photos) is owned by us or our licensors and may not be copied for commercial use without permission.

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the site, you also acknowledge that policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Los Angeles County, California, are the exclusive venue for disputes that are not resolved informally, except where prohibited.

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. The effective date will change when we do. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
